Does your hot tub look like the photo above? If so, a good hot tub cleaning and water balance is in order. Call us today to schedule hot tub maintenance. We service the Longmont, Erie and Boulder area.
Water sanitation and correct chemical balance is very important to hot tub ownership and a good soaking experience. Murky, smelly, foamy water is not clean and can be harmful to hot tub users. Skin irritations, hot tub rash, tummy illnesses, eye irritation, etc., are all symptoms of unbalanced, untreated and overused water. A hot tub with zero sanitation is a warm humid breeding ground for bacteria and parasites. Leave the smelly, murky, foamy water to us. We would be grateful to handle it for you. Believe me, we enjoy the challenge!
Hot tub water testing and balancing is a skill. It’s more than dipping a test stick and adding chemicals as instructed on the bottle. First, we get to know and understand how the owner uses their hot tub. Are kiddos using the spa? Do users rinse off in the shower before entering the hot tub? Are users going from the lake directly into the hot tub? Is the hot tub used nightly or just once a week? Once we have a clear understanding of such things, we can adjust the filtration, set the mode, suggest a proper chemical plan, adjust the bromine floater, etc. All of these maintenance actions are important in keeping and maintaining clean safe water in your hot tub.
Good hot tub maintenance is just as important for the user as it is for the hot tub itself. Poor chemical maintenance can cause equipment to corrode and malfunction. If filters are not properly cleaned and replaced, water flow issues and ultimately heater failure can occur. Poor maintenance can cause buildup in the plumbing and produce scaling (looks like tiny pieces of shredded paper). And the list goes on and on. Hot tub maintenance is a good investment to help keep you and your hot tub healthy.

Sanitizing systems that we offer with our program-
The standard sanitizing system is granular chlorine with a bromine floater. We feel this is the best system for families with children and owners with heavy hot tub usage.
The mineral stick system is a mineral stick with granular chlorine. This system eliminates bromine and we feel is best for moderate hot tub usage.

If you own a rental property with a hot tub, please call so we can chat. There are semi-public pool regulations that must be met, i.e. an erosion floater present at all times, spa must be treated and balanced before each new rental arrival, etc. You could be liable if a renter were to get sick from using your hot tub!
